Caputo offers thoughts on first of two “The TENN” out-of-state trips

The TENN 3One of the key value adds that comes from participating in Launch Tennessee’s “The TENN” master accelerator is the opportunity to meet with venture capitalists and prospective customers in San Francisco and New York City.

The Chief Executive Officer of Avrio Analytics, one of the eight teams that comprise the program’s fourth cohort, just returned from the Bay area. We asked her for her observations.

“The SF trip went well,” Alicia Caputo said. “We had some great meetings with potential clients, and ‘The TENN’ helped to set-up a few of those. We are in a great space being in AI (artificial intelligence) for the SF market and glad we went out there. Though the pitching didn’t go as planned, we like how easily adaptable all the teams and ‘The TENN’ are for their events. It was also great to see many people from TN supporting us so far away.”

Next up for most of the teams is the New York City trip set for March 21-23. There is a meet-up scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. March 22. Sponsors are Launch Tennessee and Square 1 Bank.

“We are gearing-up for our trip to NY and hope to have the same warm welcome and excitement over Sibyl and Avrio products,” Caputo said, referencing the company’s new product that we will spotlight in a teknovation.biz article tomorrow.

And, “The TENN” finale is next week (March 29) where one of the eight teams will win $25,000 investment from Launch Tennessee.
