The nation’s largest community college system has its eyes focused on helping enhance the maker movement. The three-year, $17 million California Community College Maker Initiative could be a model for community colleges to infuse making, innovation, and entrepreneurship into students’ college experiences while helping them prepare for STEM/STEAM careers.
