Brookings examines federal role in supporting Innovation Districts
The concept of innovation districts within cities is gaining a great deal of attention. Just look at the plan that the City of Chattanooga adopted called “Chattanooga Forward” and about which we reported in late May. Now comes a paper from Bruce Katz with the Brookings Institution asking the question: “What Should the Role of The Federal Government Be in Supporting Innovation Districts?”
