Bonnie Carroll selected as AAAS Council Delegate

IIABonnie C. Carroll, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Information International Associates (IIa), has been elected to a three-year term as Council Delegate from the Section on Information, Computing and Communication of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The organization is the world’s largest multidisciplinary scientific society, a leading publisher of cutting-edge research, with members in 91 countries.

Carroll is very active in local and national organizations including serving on the National Academy of Science and the National Research Council’s Board of Research Data and Information, Secretary General of the International Council for Science Committee on Data for Science and Technology, and Executive Director of CENDI, an interagency working group of senior scientific and technical information managers.

IIa received the U.S. Department of Energy’s designation in 2015 as the “Woman‐Owned Small Business of the Year.”
