Application process underway for 2015 “Cleantech Open”

Cleantech OpenAre you an entrepreneur in the cleantech space looking for mentoring, training and funding? If so, you will want to take note of this opportunity.

The “Cleantech Open” is now accepting applications from companies interested in participating in its multi-step acceleration program.

The non-profit, largely voluntary organization promotes itself with a simple tagline: “We find, fund and foster the most promising cleantech start-ups on the planet.”

Knoxville-based Fiveworx made it all the way to the finals in 2013, and several other start-ups from the region have applied in the past.

There’s a robust website for the “Cleantech Open” where interested entrepreneurs can learn more about the application process as well as the ways in which the organization executes its mission.

The deadline to apply is May 1, so you have time. There is also a good graphic that shows the number of start-ups that have participated in the “Cleantech Open” and the benefits. Click here to review it.
