Application deadline for “Innovation Crossroads” a week away

innovation-crossroadsIf you’ve been on the fence on whether to apply or not, you have just a little more than a week to decide. That’s right; the deadline to apply to be considered for one of the up to five slots available for the “Innovation Crossroads” entrepreneurial initiative at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is 5 p.m. EST on November 18.

As noted in this post on teknovation.biz, the goal is to spearhead the development of energy saving or clean energy technologies. Up to $350,000 is available for R&D support at ORNL in addition to assistance with living expenses. Entrepreneurs applying for the program must have a minimum of five years of R&D experience, never have founded a company, have a project that leverage ORNL R&D capabilities, be willing to relocate to the Knoxville-Oak Ridge region for the two-year period, and be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
