AgLaunch announces four teams in inaugural accelerator
AgLaunch, a joint initiative of Memphis Bioworks Foundation and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, has announced the inaugural four-team cohort of its new three-month accelerator program.
Coordinated by Ag Innovation Development Group (AgIDG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Memphis Bioworks, the accelerator will invest $50,000 in each of the selected start-ups. AgIDG will provide agricultural expertise and resources, leveraging entrepreneurial programming provided by Start Co., another Memphis-based organization.
The AgLaunch Accelerator is funded in part by Launch Tennessee. “Demo Day” is November 17. For more details, read the AgLaunch release (AgLaunch FINAL).
