The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center has announced additional details associated with next weekend’s “AgWorks Demo Day.”
The event is set to start at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 26, on Market Square amid the hustle and bustle of Knoxville’s vibrant Farmers’ Market. It is a collaborative effort with Nourish Knoxville.
The festivities start with what is being billed as “a casual coffee reception” for the first two hours. It will be followed by a conversation between Pete Nelson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AgLaunch, and Charlotte Tolley, Founder and Executive Director of Nourish Knoxville. They will share their thoughts on the role of agriculture and entrepreneurship in the region.
According to the schedule, the five teams in the inaugural AgWorks program will make their pitches starting at 12:45 p.m. The event wraps-up around 1:30 p.m. To register, click here.
