“AgWorks Demo Day” this weekend, “The Works Demo Day” set for September 20
For those who follow the Knoxville entrepreneurial scene closely, there are two upcoming events that share a common word – works. Both are coordinated by the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC).
One is “AgWorks” which is holding its “Demo Day” this Saturday, August 26, on Market Square. Five start-ups focused on the agricultural sector will pitch. Details about the event are here.
The other is “The Works,” KEC’s growth accelerator, which will hold its “Demo Day” for eight start-ups on Wednesday, September 20, as part of the city’s “Innov865 Week” celebration. That event is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jackson Terminal, 213 West Jackson Avenue. To register for it, click here. The deadline to register is September 15.
