Navarro Inc. buys former headquarters of Tech 2020
(UPDATE: Here’s the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce release – Navarro Purchases Tech 2020 Building Final.)The building that housed Tech 2020, one of the nation’s early venture development organizations over its 20 plus year existence, is now the property of one of Oak Ridge’s most successful start-ups. Navarro Inc., ironically founded nearly 20 years ago, has purchased the building. The environmental cleanup, waste management and nuclear services company was founded by Susana Navarro. Tech 2020 announced plans earlier this year to wind down operations and sell the building. Existing tenants have or will be moving out in the next month or so.
