DOE announces what it calls “landmark technology transfer reform initiatives”

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced last week what it described as “two landmark technology transfer reform initiatives” designed to enhance public and private sector engagement with DOE’s world class national laboratories and improve the transition of promising innovations to the marketplace.  The reforms are expected to reduce administrative access barriers to collaboration with DOE facilities and streamline approval of technology transfer agreements so DOE Labs can better move at the speed of business.
