Penn State Alumni Association commits $500,000 to fund to help university-related start-ups

The Penn State Alumni Association will invest in the future of Penn State entrepreneurs and technology start-ups — including those launched by Penn State alumni, students and faculty — through a $500,000 commitment to the 1855 Capital Fund. The latter is a $10 million-plus effort to provide seed and early stage venture capital to Penn State-affiliated start-ups. Read more here.
