TIA’s Keith Waters at national organization conference
Keith Waters, President of the Tennessee Inventors Association (TIA), is in Washington, DC this week for the IGA – Inventor Groups of America Conference. He will be joining the leaders of similar associations from across the country who are concerned about what’s best for their members.
“Over the last few years, laws have been passed that do not favor the individual inventor,” Waters told us. “Inventors and their inventions are what makes America great. We need to support all inventors, either large or small, for the benefits that they provide to either start companies, license their ideas to companies that employ people, and provide income that keeps this economy going.”
TIA is a more than 20-year old association that has been helping inventors bring their ideas to life. Waters says he hopes to network with leaders of other associations “to glean information on how their organization works that may benefit the Tennessee Inventors Association.”
