KEC offering “Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Program” in Sevierville
One of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center’s (KEC) “Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Program” weekend classes is set for two consecutive Saturdays later this month in Sevierville. The all-day program will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. February 17 and 24 at the Arts in Common Gallery, 129 Bruce Street.
As noted in this recent teknovation.biz article, KEC has been involved in the maker movement for several years and secured a grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to offer classes in several more rural communities.
Participants who are interested in establishing an online presence for their craft business will learn about best practices on topics including time management, branding, pricing, shipping, and photography. Classes are free and light snacks will be provided.
