Microsoft’s Paige Bailey announced as keynote speaker for upcoming CodeStock
With voting for sessions completed, the planning team behind CodeStock, Knoxville’s annual two-day technology and information exchange, has announced the keynote speaker for the event. Filling the role this year is Paige Bailey, a Senior Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft. She specializes in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
According to Bailey’s LinkedIn page, “the mission of the Cloud Developer Advocacy team is to win the hearts and minds of developers and IT operators to secure the future of the Microsoft Azure platform. The Cloud Developer Advocacy team is first and foremost pivoted on enabling a healthy ecosystem for technical communities targeting Azure.”
Prior to joining Microsoft in July of 2017, Bailey served for five years as a Data Scientist at Chevron. She earned two degrees from Rice University – a B.S. in Geophysics, Sociology, Energy and Water Sustainability and an M.S. in Subsurface Geosciences. Bailey also earned an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
