CherokeeFarm_horiz_gray_lowresCivil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), the anchor tenant for the first privately-developed building on the University of Tennessee’s Cherokee Farm Innovation Campus, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new space yesterday.

The company, which has more than 20 offices around the country, chose the new location as a symbol of the firm’s innovative nature and spirit, James Tomiczek, CEC Vice President, told attendees at the brief ceremony.

The company relocated to Cherokee Farm where it is occupying 25,000 square, the entire first floor of the two-story structure.

Here’s a picture from yesterday’s ceremony.
